Have You Ever Drastically Changed Your Hair Color?

I have had dark brown hair my whole life. But every time I would tell people I wanted to be blonde, they'd say it wouldn't suit me. Well, this time I wanted to NOT listen to all of that 'helpful' advice...and I love my new hair!

At first I started getting highlights and that was nice...but I really wanted to be blonder.

So, thanks to the best advice I could get from the professionals on how blonde I should probably go the first time out....here is my new hair!

I totally love it and, now that I know I can feel comfortable with lighter hair, I will keep going blonde! It's just so nice to have something new to play with!

Thanks so much to Lea Deloy at Styling Company in Belmar for taking me on (despite Lou Russo thinking this was a really bad idea!) and getting this mop of brunette to turn blonde in a healthy fashion (if I did it myself I'm sure there would have been bleach, burn, and disaster, lol!!!) and also thanks to Jen at Styling Company for giving me makeup, too!

So...next time everyone tells you that your hair SHOULD be a certain color...maybe you'll have the nerve to try what YOU want instead!
