Heartbroken Owners Had to Give this Dog Up

They ran into extreme financial difficulties, lost their house, and had to bring their dog to the Monmouth County SPCA. Now this sweet girl, Jolie, needs a new home.

Our Point Pet of the week is just over 2 years old. Her last family was forced to surrender her and were heartbroken to have to give her up. They gushed about how wonderful she is and say she is loving and even does fine with cats.

It looks like Jolie is some sort of a shepherd mix. She is full of puppy-like energy and will do best with a family that is active. She enjoys long walks, hikes, and runs on the beach. Because she's so energetic, she may do best as an only dog.

Jolie loves to play, especially games of fetch. And she is smart and knows lots of commands. She has a lot of love to offer.

Also, the MCSPCA will be hosting an All Faiths Blessing of the Animals this Sunday, Oct. 9th, Noon to 5 pm. There will be over 40 vendors present as well as food trucks, music, entertainment, and more. All species are welcome so bring your leashed or crated animals for their blessings!
