Nearly record-breaking heat caused chaos at Jersey Shore schools Tuesday. 

In Brick, six Saint Dominic students suffered heat exhaustion Tuesday during their 50th anniversary Opening Day ceremony.

Keyport Public Schools to canceled classes Tuesday due to the 90+ degree weather. A malfunctioning electrical component at Central School is being blamed according to APP. With no air conditioning, district officials felt they had no choice.

The district will use one of their two "built-in" snow days to make up for today. That's right, a snow day...in summer. But, is that fair?
