After you dig out of all this snow, you can help neighbors who need assistance.

Part of the website Neighbors for Neighbors, "Snow Crew" matches neighbors who are elderly, disabled, sick, injured, or pregnant with nearby neighbors who can and want to shovel them out after snowstorms.

If you or someone you know has a plow, snow blower or some extra hands to do some shoveling, please pass this site along.

Not only can you see a map and detailed locations of where folks need help, but you can sign up to get alerts of new issues.

If one is in need of assistance digging out, they can put in a "shovel request." This does not guarantee help, but it'll at least get the ball rolling and hopefully alert nearby neighbors who can be of assistance.

The more people who are aware of this service and site, the better the chances of getting folks dug.

Click "Share on Facebook" or "Share on Twitter" below to pass along to your friends and family!
