This beautiful senior is our Point Pet of the Week.

The Monmouth County SPCA says this dog's name describes her perfectly. Candy is sweet as sugar! Friendly to everyone she meets, Candy has a tail that is always wagging & she just loves to lay in your lap and get belly rubs.

Candy is an 8 year old who was surrendered to the shelter from Neptune with her daughter, Star. Star has since found her forever home but Candy was left behind.

Playful and fun, Candy loves long walks with her staff and volunteer friends. But she could really use a comfy couch in a forever home filled with love.
