UPDATE: Since we first told you about that big Ticketmaster settlement for about 50 million people who've purchased tickets through the company in the past, there's now a list of New Jersey area concerts that are eligible for the discounts and vouchers.

I did you the favor of sorting through the whole list. For Jersey, there was a bunch at our amphitheaters in Holmdel and Camden. Those still are eligible for discount codes, good for $2.25 off a purchase (or $5 for UPS delivery).

As they cautioned, Ticketmaster is "updating" its list periodically, which I'll give you again, here. The free vouchers now are good for a pair of "general admission" tickets. There is a first-come, first-served basis alluded to in the legal details.

First, let me say, my concert nights out are a bit more... measured these days.  As a mom of two young munchkins, it's quality over quantity. So, it was a surprise to check my own Ticketmaster account and see 36 different codes ripe for the taking! But then I realized that between late 1999 through 2013 — the years involved in the $400 million class action lawsuit settlement with Ticketmaster — those were prime concert-going years for me.

As a 20-something, there were a lot of fun shows in that time span. (This pic below is me & my sister, at "All Points West" festival in Liberty State Park).

You know what I'm talking about if you remember seeing Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes (2000), Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers or Motley Crue more than once, Def Leppard, James Taylor, Aerosmith a bunch of different summers, Blink-182 and Green Day (2002) or Train with Maroon 5 (2011). And those were all Holmdel shows.

I also had great times seeing Pearl Jam and even Farm Aid in Camden! It made me look back at my ticket stub collection [music nerd alert!]. So thanks for the trip down memory lane, Ticketmaster!

Based on my attempts, my advice to fellow ticket voucher holders is go for the lawn. Since the vouchers are for general admission, it seems to give you the best shot at scoring a free show, without an error message.

Eligible shows at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel

Eligible shows at BB&T Pavilion in Camden

Again, for help checking on your codes and such, we're here for you. For the full concert list, which apparently is being updated as needed, click here.
