It's a brand new year and we're going to have a brand new coat of snow. Like it or not, we're going to be warming up the snow blowers and digging out the shovels.

According to the latest forecast, we'll see anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of snow throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties, with the higher amounts inland and lower amounts right along the southern coast of the area.

It won't just be the snow though. We're also going to deal with some wind and bitterly cold temperatures. It will all start with a chance of some light rain today, changing to snow this evening, and tapering off tomorrow morning. The high temperature tomorrow will likely not get higher than the teens.

Stay with us for the very latest and remember to check Point Stormwatch for the latest delays and closings...and be careful!
