Tim Howard, goalkeeper for Team USA, was born in North Brunswick. He started high school in Montclair at Montclair Kimberely Academy, but went back to North Brunswick High School for junior year and graduated from there.

Tim also played for the New York/New Jersey MetroStars. In 2001, he was named MLS Goalkeeper of the year (the youngest ever) and was also given the MLS Humanitarian of the Year Award. He has been with the US National Team since 2002.

Team USA's next game is against Germany on Thursday, and they will advance in the tournament with a win or tie .
