Great family events for the weekend of June 14-16, 2013!

-- Huge Yard Sale taking place in the front parking log next to Manasquan High School to benefit the MHS band! For sale: instruments, music, and anything else you'd find at a yard sale including furniture, art, antiques, jewelry, tools, books, bikes, sports equipment, toys, and, of course music! Refreshments will be for sale including popcorn and cold drinks, a DJ will play music, and donations will be accepted, too, in case there's some stuff you want to donate for the sale. Band members will help you carry stuff to your car, too! Broad Street, Manasquan, 8 am - 2 pm Saturday.

-- Tailgate on the Square! SquanStrong is holding a giant tailgate party in Squan Square (Squan Plaza) on Saturday from 4 pm - 8 pm. $50 for 2 parking spaces to spread out your best Tailgate party! Events include the Best Tailgating Contest, Dunk Tank, Bitter Bobs BBQ, Chocolate Bar, Brownie Eating Contest, Beverage Truck, Corn Hole tournament, Face Painting, Hula Hoop Games, Side Walk Chalk Art, DJand more! -- Doggy Yappy Hour at the Ocean County Park in Lakewood is tonight (Friday)! It's a chance to have some fun with your dog. Featuring displays, information, giveaways, and demonstrations. All dogs must be on a leash and vaccinated. Lots of vendors and doggies! 6 pm - 8 pm at the Beach Complex at Ocean County Park, 659 Ocean Ave., Lakewood.

-- Father's Day at Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Pt. Pleasant Beach: Dads get free admission to rides, the aquarium, fun house, and mini golf with a paying child on Sunday!
