Whether you're an adult or a child, no matter if you have good rhythm or are musical, this is a great way to get together with others and try something new and so much fun!

You are invited to a spectacular night of percussion and fun!

There are actually TWO opportunities for you and your family or friends to try Drum Circles this month at the Count Basie Theatre's Performing Arts Academy.

Drumming transcends gender, race, age, and nationality. Group drumming creates a sense of community and a powerful, shared experience that integrates body, mind and spirit.

So get ready to release happiness- and euphoria-producing endorphins and share in a fun experience with others!

The price is just $5 per person OR $10 for families of four! So head to 111 Monmouth Street (inside the Performing Arts Academy that's in the smaller building attached to County Basie Theatre) for one of these two sessions:

-- The Community Drum Circle on Friday, Oct. 14th, 7 - 8:30 pm

--  The Family Drum Circle on Friday, Oct. 21st from 6 - 7:30 pm

The Family Drum Circle leader is used to working with younger children so that one creates a very different energy from the Community Drum Circle. But children, teens, and adults are welcome to join in for both Circles!
