Raids took place on March 7, 12 and 21, according to information from the office of Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Chris Grammiccioni.

On March 7 in Neptune City, Carl Edward Laine, 33, and Geneeja Walker, 29, were charged after a search of their Brighton Arms apartment.

Investigators said they uncovered 2,400 bags of heroin, about $5,000 cash and a 2010 Acura, which authorities believe are tied to drug sales.

Their 10-year-old daughter was present during the raid, authorities said, leading to child endangerment charges alongside heroin possession and distribution-related counts.

Laine and Walker were relased after posting a full $100,000 and $25,000 bail respectively, prosecutors said.

A March 12 search of an Asbury Park apartment near Bangs Avenue School yielded 200 bags of heroin and almost a half-ounce of cocaine, investigators said.

Fred D. Anderson III, 22, is the subject of eight drug-related charges by county and Ocean township law enforcement, authorities said. Shannon Ross, 23, of Asbury Park, and John P. Cahill, 26, of Ocean Township, were also charged.

Anderson and Ross were sent to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold on bail of $200,000 and $75,000, respectively. Cahill was released on a summons.

A pair of March 21 searches of two Prospect Avenue apartments in Asbury Park led to the discovery of heroin in each, and the arrest of Richard Plummer, 53, and Glen “Link” Miller, 48.

Plummer was released on a summons to await hearings, and Miller was released after posting $25,000 bail, authorities said.

Also arrested and released to await court proceedings on heroin possession charges stemming from the March 21 raid were:

  • Jacoby Richbow, 35, of Asbury Park
  • Paul Williams, 60, of Asbury Park
  • Tommy L. Elmore, 57, of Asbury Park
  • Saul Evans, Jr., 34, of Neptune Township
  • Bryant Hurston, 34, of Trenton, who also faces a marijuana-possession charge
  • Erica Davis, 32, of Asbury Park
  • Noble R. Bey, 43, of Asbury Park
  • Denise Watson, 43, of Asbury Park
  • Alonzo S. Miller, 34, of Asbury Park.
