The principal says it's a lesson in bullying. How would you feel about your kids performing or watching that horrific story in school?

A suburban Michigan school is standing by its decision to stage a musical version of "Carrie", based on the Stephen King horror story.

Many parents have complained that it's an inappropriate choice for a spring musical for the high school (in Farmington Hills).

But the principal says the musical is a way of looking at the impact of bullying and mental illness.
