Tomorrow night at Manasquan High School you can help support students who are dancing non-stop for 12 hours to raise money for children with cancer in our area and their families.

Squan-A-Thon has raised over $120,000 in the past three years to help children with cancer in the communities of the MES school district including Manasquan, Sea Girt, Brielle, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, Belmar, and Avon.

Students at MHS, who have already raised much of the money themselves, will start dancing at 8 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) night and stay on their feet until Saturday morning at 8 a.m. You can show up to make a donation and cheer them on, or you can send a check to MHS. Contact squanathon@manasquanboe.org for instructions on how to do so. Or Twitter: @Squanathon. Or call (732) 528-8820 ext. 1669.

Special thanks to Bubbakoos, Ralph's, Fins, OMG Yogurt, and Squan Tavern for their donations.

Maggie Bryant (Media Committee Chairperson) and Kathleen Gerard (Entertainment Committee Chairperson), who visited our Point Studios this morning,  would also like to thank Patrick Levin (Finance), Kate Badecker (food and facilities), Maddy Brown (Dance Relations) and their school advisors: Paul Battaglia, Pat McKenzie, Ms. Lowes, and Mr. Voskian.

Best of luck staying awake and dancing the night away to help some very special kids and their families!
