Please give our young Point Pet of the Week some love...he has been with the shelter for over a year.

This sweet dog, named Champ Luke, is described as faithful, playful and endearing. He is a two-and-a-half year old Terrier mix who is puppy-playful yet loves to relax and cuddle on the couch at night. Champ was surrendered by an elderly man from Ocean Township who was entering a nursing home.

Champ is part of the Monmouth County SPCA's Canine Foster Program and his foster mom can't say enough good things about him.  Champ has been perfecting his leash walking skills and commands with an at home trainer and is doing amazing!
Long walks and playing in the yard with his tennis balls are this dog's favorite past times but most of all he loves cuddling with a human companion on the couch at night.
If you would like to meet Champ, call ahead so that they can arrange to have him on premises when you come in. For contact info and hours, CLICK HERE.
