Holiday Happenings At Allaire Village

Lantern Tours, Train Rides with Santa, and A Christmas Carol, and lots of holiday cheer at Allaire Village!

Tickets are still available for "A Christmas Carol" at Allaire Village, being held at the Allaire Chapel on Friday, Dec. 7th and Friday, Dec. 14th at 7:30 p.m.

Dickens' own one hour edited version starring English stage actor James Dyne is great for the whole family. Tickets are $15 and advanced purchase is recommended. Purchase online at www.allairevillage.org/tickets, or call 732-919-3500.

And, experience Allaire Village at night during Christmas Lantern Tours! It's a guided lantern-lit tour through the festive Historic Village on Saturdays, Dec. 8th and 15th from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

The tours are 90 minutes and leave every 15 minutes from the Visitor's Center. On your tour you will experience 19th century holiday music in the Chapel, holiday decorations, caroling, and gingerbread baking in the Village, and beautiful holiday festivities in the Allaire Mansion.

Allaire Village is located at 4263 Atlantic Avenue in Farmingdale, inside Allaire State Park.

And, for the kids, The Christmas Express Train with Santa leaves from Allaire State Park, too, and this is a separate ticket purchase through the New Jersey Museum of Transportation (www.njmt.org) at the Pine Creek Railroad at Allaire.

A Holiday Tradition for over 30 years! Santa rides the Christmas Express and talks to all the children. Train leaves every half hour from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You are purchasing for a trip on a SET day and time. Each person planning to ride the train requires a paid ticket for this event. This event sells out every year! We suggest you purchase your tickets in advance. Our Ticket Agent is in every Saturday & Sunday from Noon to 4 PM. Visa, MasterCard, cash and checks are accepted for payment. The train rides are Dec. 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23rd at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Go to the train station depot at Allaire to buy your tickets in advance!
