Honoring a Local Veteran

This Military Monday we honor a very special person in his community.

An anonymous listener has nominated a local veteran from Neptune named Don Braxton as our Warrior of the Week.

The person that nominated Don says this:

"Don is a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. The month of November was very tragic for Mr. Braxton. He lost his sister at the age of 40 in an apartment fire in Neptune. Don has been there every step of the way. I feel Don needs to know that he is not only going to have a guardian angel over him now, but that he himself is an angel in his peers' eyes. I feel that a local honor like this will put a bit of a smile back on Don's face in time for the holidays. Don is the past Post Commander of the VFW #2639 in Neptune, where he is loved by ALL. "
