Hounding You to Take Her Home!

Our Point Pet of the Week is a precious Hound/Terrier mix. This is Chloe and she is 7-years young! She is a smart girl that knows her basic commands and then some!

Chloe came to stay at the Monmouth County SPCA when her family had to give her up because they were not allowed to have pets where they lived.

Then, in February, Chloe was adopted by a nice lady...but it turned out that her home was too overwhelming an environment for Chloe, who, it turns out, needs a quieter setting. She couldn't handle all the activity.

So now Chloe is back at the shelter looking for a nice, quiet, forever home. She is fun-loving but would do best in a home where she is an only pet.

At the shelter, Chloe has lots of friends who love to take her for car rides and it has become one of Chloe's favorite things to do! She also loves play toys and going to the park for a good game of catch.

Chloe is also a great snuggler who gives kisses to her human friends whenver she sees them. So come collect your kisses!

Also mark your calendars for Sunday, July 17th, Noon - 5 pm, when the MCSPCA will have a special Grooming Event with 6 mobile groomers on site offering free grooms and baths to any animal adopted that day! Come check them out and establish a new grooming relationship with someone who will come to your doorstep for the comfort and convenience of your pet!
