The percentage of adults who smoke cigarettes in New Jersey is 13.5%, bested only by California's 11.7% and Utah's 9.1%, according to msn.com.

The top 3 states are Arkansas with 24.9%, West Virginia at 25.7% and topping the list is Kentucky, coming in at a whopping 25.9%.

The good news is that cigarette smoking is down in every state in the nation in the past five years, including a 19.64% drop here in New Jersey.
