How You Can Help at the Jersey Shore

We're getting a lot of calls from people wondering how they can help, where they can bring donations, etc.

In Monmouth County, you can bring item donations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to the service entrance of Thompson Park (805 Newman Springs Rd./Rt 520) in Lincroft.

They are especially in need of bottled water, non-perishable food, pet food, new clothing, blankets, personal hygiene items (including baby items.) This is a donation site only, they will be distributing these items at shelters and various distribution sites to be named soon.

Ocean County shelters are accepting donations of towels, pillows, toiletries (toilet paper, toothbrushes, mouth wash, soap, etc.), pet supplies, etc. You can bring them to Toms River Intermediate East for distribution. To volunteer there,  you can call 848-992-0216. You can also bring supplies to Pine Belt Nissan on Rt. 37 in Toms River to bring to Pine Belt Arena Shelter.

You can text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to give a $10 donation.

We are working to organize long-term volunteer projects, so make sure to keep checking back as we launch our own recovery efforts. This will be a long process, but we will rebuild our Jersey Shore.
