The restaurant chain reportedly didn't give much notice to their customers, or their employees.

According to the Howell Happenings NJ Facebook page, this sign is posted at the entrance of the restaurant on Route 9 North.

This shutdown apparently happened at warp speed as the person behind the Facebook posting mentioned that they stopped by and talked to employees who were still outside. They supposedly showed up for work on Monday to find out that they were all without jobs. Workers allegedly got no notice at all.

This comes not even a week after news broke that the Howell Best Buy will be shutting down in November.

We are working to get answers on this sudden closing. It really is an awful way to treat employees.

Members of the Howell Facebook community jumped right in pointing the former employees of the Ruby Tuesday in the right direction of a new job.
