Howell Shoprite Grand Opening Date Announced, Lakewood Store Closing

We told you back in October that Shoprite was opening a location in Howell. Now we can tell you when it's opening it's doors.

Shoprite of Howell is located in the Friendship Plaza in Howell and will be open to the public next Wednesday April 22nd.

With this news comes word that the Lakewood Shoprite will be closing up shop Tuesday April 21. This decision has been controversial to say the least.

Many feel the much needed Shoprite in Howell will be way too crowded with customers from the Lakewood location shifting their shopping four miles north to Howell.
