HQ Trivia Host Scott Rugowsky is Doing Stand-Up this Weekend

The host of the mobile game that makes everybody stop what they're doing weekdays at 3 and 9 pm is coming to the area!

HQ Trivia star Scott Rugowsky will be at The Trocodero Theatre in Philly this Saturday, September 15 at 8 pm.

Scott, who got his start in stand-up promises an evening of trivia and comedy. It's an all-ages interative show where you can win prizes.

If you play the game on the app, you know that Scott's wit is very corny and dry. It'll be interesting to see what his show is like. I will say this. For a game that moves so quickly, Scott is incredibly smooth and entertaining.

Not familiar with HQ Trivia? It's a free trivia game app that goes live at 3 pm and 9 pm weekdays. Contestants are asked 12 rapid-fire questions. If you answer all 12 questions correctly, you split the jackpot with all of the other people who also correctly answered all the questions. Usually the prize is split between roughly 3,000 people. However, there have been times when there have been as many as 80,000 winners. If there are no winners, that day's prize money is rolled over and added to the next day's prize.

I answered all 12 questions right only once. I got $5.21. I do know people who have won hundreds, even thousands playing.
