Any parent who has a child with emotional problems, behavioral problem, or substance abuse problems knows it isn't easy to get proper help and treatment. Tonight you can find out how to get the help you need for your family.

This evening at Manasquan High School, a special information session will take place to help families learn how to get care for behavioral health, substance use, and developmental disability services for children and teens.

You will find out how to access the NJ Children's System of Care, CSOC, which serves children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral health care challenges and their families, as well as children with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families.

CSOC is committed to providing these services based on the needs of the child and family in a family-centered, community-based environment. Representatives from MonmouthCares and partner agencies will help parents learn how to navigate the Children's System of Care to access a variety of services, including community-based services, in-home services, out-of-home residential services, and family support services.

Any parent in our area is welcome to attend this free event. It starts at 6 pm at the Manasquan High School Media Center, 167 Broad Street, Manasquan.
