Irish Festival in Spring Lake Saturday

Do you know why Spring Lake is called the "Irish Riviera"?

Spring Lake has the highest percentage of Irish-Americans of any municipality in the United States! Wow! That's why the town is sometimes referred to as the "Irish Riviera."

Come celebrate this Saturday, May 20th, when the Spring Lake Chamber of Commerce presents The Spring Lake Irish Festival from Noon - 5 pm at Third and Morris Avenues. There will be Irish Step Dancers, a Beer and Wine Garden, an Irish Soda Bread Contest, a Petting Zoo and other kid activities, a Pizza Eating contest, a Food Court, photo booth, and so much more!

There will be a special appearance by Irish Actor John Duddy and live performances by The Snakes and Six Mile Cross. There will also be an Irish Festival Treasure Hunt for adults with a prize worth $500, and, on Sunday, there will also be a special movie screening and an Irish Afternoon Tea.
