Is It Me, Or Is Weekend Traffic Still A Little Crazy?

I thought after Labor Day, we got a traffic break. That's not what I've seen on the Parkway.

I was on the Parkway three times this weekend, and every time, there was way more traffic than I expected. Lots of out of state plates, too. So, what's that all about? It's mid September! My mind is not on traffic. My mind is not on crowds. My mind is on trying to squeeze out what little droplets of summer remain, and you can't do that while you're sitting in traffic.  

Hey, if it's bringing some additional revenue to local businesses, then it's a good thing. I hope so, otherwise I'm not happy about it!
