In a story out of Toms River, one dad took that question to court. Here's what the judge had to say.

Is Pink bad for an 11-year old girl? That's the question one father took to court.

He says his ex-wife abused her parental discretion by taking their daughter to a Pink concert in December 2013 in Newark when she was 11 (she's now 12).

So how did NJ Superior Court Judge Lawrence Jones rule?

The judge says he sees nothing inappropriate about Pink's art for preteens, even thought Pink may have some suggestive moves and lyrics.

The judge found the mother did not compromise the girl's safety or health...and it sounds like they had "a really great time."

I know a lot of our listeners have been to a Pink concert and raved about how awesome she is. I have read so many of Pink's quotes that build up girls and women in a positive way and have really impacted female self-esteem. Her messages of not allowing yourself to be compromised or taken advantage of, and to learn to love yourself, are good ones.

I have taken my middle school boys to several concerts and have felt that my judgement as a mom is good enough to decide what is and isn't okay for my kids.

What are your thoughts on this?
