As we continue to look at some of the reports of haunted places in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, today, our attention is focused on Port Monmouth.

There have been reports of supernatural stories from people regarding what is known as the Seabrook-Wilson House, but better known as the Spy House in Port Monmouth. Some claim it is the most haunted house in America.

Some of the ghostly sightings reported include a British captain, the sounds of sobbing and a woman in white. The sight was open for public tours for years and during that time, visitors reported ghost sightings.

The Spy House then stopped doing public tours, and according to app.com, when the tours stopped, that only fueled the rumors of a ghostly sightings, and the legend of the Spy house grew.

The Seabrook-Wilson House is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been since 1974. It is located at 719 Port Monmouth Road, and according to macaronikids.com, is open for tours this Sunday, October 21st from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
