Our lives are crazy busy, that's just a fact. Spare time is often hard to come by. That's why we all need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture.

We've all heard that by giving blood, we're saving a life. It's the truth. If it weren't for blood donations, Jackson's Joey Weikel may not have survived.

When you give blood, you give someone a second chance at life. Think about how amazing that is. Central Jersey Blood Center is in extreme need for blood donations. Remember, blood cannot be manufactured – it can only come from generous donors like us. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.

According to the American Cancer Society, more than 1.69 million people are expected to be diagnosed with cancer this year. Many of them will need blood, sometimes daily, during their chemotherapy treatment.

A single car accident victim can require as many as 100 pints of blood.

The great thing about Central Jersey Blood Center is that they are extremely flexible and can work around your schedule.

CJBC has three donation centers in Shrewsbury, Howell and Toms River. Supplies are running dangerously low, please make an appointment, or just walk in!
