A Jackson man’s truck knocked over a utlity pole in Toms River late Saturday night.

Arthur Carballo 35 of Jackson was eastbound on Kettle Creek Road just after 11:30 Saturday night in a 2002 Ford Truck when the vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole at Blue Sea Drive according to Toms River Police.

Carbello, the only one in the vehicle, was extricated by Silverton Fire Company and transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune Kettle Creek Road was closed for about an hour while repairs wwer made to the pole.

 

Just prior to the accident police received a call concerning the vehicle involved in the accident driving erratically on Hinds Road near Church road.

No charges have been filed. Toms River Police continue their investigation.
