Police say 20-year old Blake Vuyovich tried making a break for it when officers spotted him in a hooded sweatshirt walking away and began approaching him.

He then led officers on a foot chase through the complex before they caught up and arrested him.

Vuyovich allegedly ran up and down the block pulling on car door handles to see if they were unlocked so he could grab some change.

Investigators say all the while he was under the influence of Xanax without a valid prescription.

He's being charged with burglary, theft, obstructing the administration of law, resisting arrest by flight and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance.

He was processed and released on a summons pending a future day in court.

The public is reminded that anyone arrested or charged with any offenses or crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
