Jacquie Lee Advances On The Voice

If you listened closely enough, you could hear the cheers from Colts Neck no matter where you were in Monmouth and Ocean Counties last night. Jacquie Lee has advanced on The Voice.

In my mind, there really wasn't any doubt about it. Her performance of "I Put A Spell On You" was one of the best I'd seen on any singing show...ever. And she did it while she was sick. What unbelievable ability and poise.

Having had the privilege of meeting Jacquie and her family, and knowing what a terrific family it is, I really was on the edge of my seat, like most of us probably were, waiting for the results.

I really didn't think her advancement was in jeopardy, but as they say, you never know. What a relief that she was the fist on Christina's team to advance. Once we heard that, we could relax and enjoy the rest of the show. And in the back of our minds, so many of us were thinking "she could win this thing"!

So, congratulation to Jacquie Lee, and remember Jacquie, no matter what happens, we couldn't be more proud of you for representing our area so well!
