Jax from American Idol Rocks Bar A for a Great Cause!

Help a very special group of local people raise money that will go toward building smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans by attending this awesome event at Bar A Thursday evening!

Kathy Robertson Cunningham continues to honor the memory of her brother, Donald W. Robertson, Jr., after he was killed in the September 11th attack on the Twin Towers. Kathy's message is that she will never forget her brother, who was so loved in our community as a father, son, brother, husband, and friend.

Since Donnie was so proud of his Irish heritage and shamrock tattoo, Kathy formed "Team Shamrock" and has been raising more money than any other group for the annual Tunnels to Towers Run/Walk each year for the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Tower Foundation. All because of the wonderful Monmouth and Ocean County residents who have donated their time and money.

The mission of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Tower Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller, who laid down his life to save others on September 11th, 2001. The Foundation also honors our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.

SO... please come out to Bar Anticipation in Lake Como this Thursday, June 23rd, from 6 pm - 10 pm as Team Shamrock "Sham-Rocks the Grotto" with a barbeque and Jax from Season 14 of American Idol who will be rocking the house! The Snakes (one of the most popular Irish bands in NJ) will also be there, and there will be drink specials, a gift auction, and lots more fun! Admission price is $25. Rain or Shine.

The funds that Kathy Cunningham's Team Shamrock raises will go towards building smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans. I can't think of a better way to show our thanks and appreciation for the military and for those who helped save lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
