World Hunger Awareness Event

The JBJ Soul Kitchen will be hosting an event focused on World Hunger Awareness at the front gardens of the community restaurant this Saturday.

The event takes place from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It will be a fun and informative interactive presentation that will focus on bringing awareness to the issues surrounding hunger in our community, and will feature local community partners.

The JBJ Soul Kitchen's goal is to "serve healthy, delicious, and when possible, organic meals. At Soul Kitchen you will notice there are no prices on the menu and you might have been seated with someone you don’t know. Customers pay the minimum donation or volunteer in some way to earn a dining certificate for a meal," according to the JBJ Soul Kitchen website.
