Can it be that Jersey Shore drivers actually show patience on the road? Well, that depends on your definition of patience.

We did a poll of Jersey Shore drivers and asked how long you will wait behind someone after the red light turns green before you start beeping. The results showed that we are surprisingly patient drivers, relatively speaking. This might be the New Jersey definition of patience.

In our poll, most Jersey Shore drivers (53%) were willing to wait a whole 3 to 5 seconds before beeping at the driver ahead of them who haven't realized the light has turned green yet. A whole 3 to 5 seconds!

About 17% said they'll only wait two seconds before hitting the horn, and the most patient among us (17%) wait a full 5 seconds. 7% say they never beep. Those are the people who have never, ever driven behind me, and 3% don't wait at all. For them, the light turns green and they're beeping immediately.

I don't know about you bit it seems to me that last 3% is driving behind me at least 75% of the time!
