Help Jersey Shore Family Fight Lupus

To help out people like 10-year-old Miah and her mother Elizabeth is the Polar Bear Plunge to Freeze Out Lupus coming up on February 3rd at the Convention Hall in Asbury Park.

.....and yes I am plunging.

Ten-year-old Miah and her mother Elizabeth came by the 94.3 The Point studios to promote the event and discuss their personal experiences with Lupus.

Miah was diagnosed at the young age of nine years old and has been very proactive with raising awareness regarding the disease.

Sheri Kirkpatrick, the Regional Development Director of the Lupus Research Alliance also stopped by for a visit to educate us on the importance of this event. 100% of the proceeds go towards Lupus research because the Lupus Research Alliance funds all of their events.
