A Jackson man is accused of sexually assaulting a teen boy who was a member of his travelling basketball team. Christopher Tarver is the Dunellen Recreation Director and former Middlesex County College Basketball coach. He's being held on $250,000 bail.

Seaside Heights police administer Ocean County's first life-saving dose of the heroin antidote Narcan, saving an unresponsive male's life. Prosecutors say cops responded to a first aid call at a motel overnight Sunday and recognized it was an apparent heroin overdose. No charges have been filed.

A gunman is on the loose after shooting a 28-year old Red Bank man last night. Police say the victim was sitting in a vehicle in a driveway of a Willow Street home in Red Bank when he was shot numerous times shortly before 7 pm by a person standing near the sidewalk. The victim was in critical condition and underwent surgery.

A Brick Township woman is accused of driving drunk with her 6-year old daughter in the car. 22-year old Jasmine Vincent was pulled over by Lakewood police on New Hampshire Ave. overnight Tuesday. She faces mulitple charges.

Lakewood's Tent City homeless camp will be completely vacated in the next few weeks. The Township continues tearing down vacated tents as appropriate housing is found for Tent City residents. About 49 people have been placed so far and another 11 are waiting to be moved.

A fire fueled by natural gas and wind forced the evacuation of a Manalapan neighborhood as crews battled a house blaze on Twin Lakes Drive yesterday. A dozen fire companies battled the fire.

A Jackson woman is recovering from serious leg and hip injuries after being struck by a car on West County Line Road Tuesday night. Police say a preliminary investigation indicates the accident my have been the pedestrian's fault.

Governor Christie says he's willing to consider new measures to make sure the right form of medical marijuana, edible, is made available to children who could benefit from it. He spoke about the issue yesterday at a Twon Hall meeting. However, he says he's not open to legalizing or decriminalizing pot.

The Coast Guard is searching offshore for a commercial fisherman who apparently fell overboard. The 30-year old from Virginia was reported missing from the fishing vessel Yvonne Michelle approximately 45 miles east of the Manasquan Inlet around 11:30 am yesterday. Two Coast Guard helicopters and two boats combed the ocean without any sign of him. The search will continue today.

Two full-time Red Bank librarians laid off last month will be rehired and $100,000 of the library's expenses will be paid by the borough under a plan approved by the council yesterday. The library's Board of Trustees will vote on the budget later this month.
