Jersey Shore Landmark Supposedly Haunted

Author Stephen Crane, wrote “The Red Badge of Courage.” He was also a native of Asbury Park. Some of his additional writings included newspaper articles about Jersey Shore ghosts. To this day many claim that "The Stephen Crane House" is haunted. 

The address is 508 4th Ave. in Asbury Park. The caretaker of the house, Tom Chesek claims you can't keep a bottle of scotch in the house. Every bottle mysteriously is drained of its contents. To make this even creepier, the contents of the bottle vanish even when they are boxed!
