The Jersey Shore Out of the Darkness Community Walk is taking place this Saturday September 26th.

The goal of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's event is to prevent suicide, raise awareness, and end the stigma that surrounds depression and other mental disorders. Participants in the event honor loved ones lost to suicide as well as raising critical funds for the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention's mission.

The Foundation's goal is to reduce the annual suicide rate in the U.S. 20% by 2025. The AFSP provides research, support, advocacy and education. Let's all get together to show our support in this critical mission.
