Jersey Shore Poll – Gift Card Results May Surprise You

We asked you about giving gift cards as presents this Christmas in the latest Jersey Shore poll, and the results may surprise you.

It turns out that nearly half of you said that gift cards should only be used as presents if they were specifically asked for, or not used at all. To be exact, 8% said they should never be used as a gift, and another 38% said only if they are specifically requested.

Nearly a quarter of the respondents said they are great for certain people on your list, and another 15% said a gift card is an appropriate present for someone who is difficult to shop for. Only 15% said a gift card is always an appropriate gift.

For those who love the gift card idea, you can look at it this way. About 92% of Jersey Shore residents who responded to our survey say gift cards are a good gift at certain times in certain situations.
