We start this week with some snow around the Jersey Shore. It's enough to be a Monday morning nuisance, and there's more on the way.

Some overnight snow has left anywhere from a coating to 3 inches of snow around Monmouth & Ocean Counties for our Monday morning commute. Most main roads have been treated but you should be on the alert for icy spots and secondary roadways this morning.

And you will also need to clean off the car this morning, as well, so be ready for that. And to add to our winter woes to kick off the work week, our Chief Meteorologist Dan Zarrow says there's more snow on the way for our area.

It looks like we'll see some more snow in the area tonight, and it will change over to an icy mix that will affect our Tuesday commute as well. We'll see snow with 1 to 3 inches possible early in the day before it changes to rain around mid morning tomorrow.

It's not big numbers, but it is something to keep in mind for the morning and throughout the day tomorrow. We've been relatively lucky when it come to accumulating snow this winter so far, but the early week is a bit of a February reminder for us.
