Jillian Michaels’ Top Weight Loss Tips
Last year we had The Biggest Loser’s awesome Bob Harper on our show to talk about his fitness tips. So it’s only fair that we share some of Jillian’s suggestions on easy, affordable ways to get fit…and stay that way.
Jillian’s out with a new book called Slim for Life. She’ll also be doing the “Maximize Your Life” tour, a night of inspiration and motivation that will change your life for the better by kick-starting your goals and shifting your attitude, behavior, and mindset to lead you into the limitless possibility for joy and abundance.. The closest tour stop to our area is at the Kimmel Center in Philly on May 3, 2013.
In the meantime, here are Jillian’s top tips to get fit and stay that way:
– Crank up the Caffeine. Have a cup of coffee or a chemical-free caffeine supplement 30 minutes before you work out. Caffeine increases your endurance in the gym.
– Wear a reminder. tie a little ribbon around your waist under your clothes. As you eat, you can feel the ribbon get tighter. It created awareness about how full you are.
– Stand, don’t sit. Pace while you’re at your desk on the phone and deliver your email messages in person. You can burn extra calories just by standing more throughout your day.
– Try mint oils. Jillian says she puts peppermint oil on her wrists. It supposedly increases your exercise intensity and amps you up.
