It's a day out with your dog!

It's the Monmouth County SPCA's 21st Anniversary Dog Walk & Pet Fair, a great day of fun and a chance to be outside on the beautiful grounds of Brookdale Community College with thousands of other dog lovers and their pets!

It's all to raise money for the Monmouth County SPCA -- a cause near and dear to my heart for several reasons: the beautiful animals they have rescued and found new homes for, the animals they keep at their shelter instead of giving up on them, and the animals they rescue from OTHER overcrowded shelters that would have been 'put to sleep' if the MCSPCA hand not stepped in to save them. Most of my pets throughout my life have been rescues from the MCSPCA.

REGISTER NOW and take part in this great Dog Walk on Saturday, April 25th, from 10 - 3, by donating $25 OR collecting pledges from your friends and family.

You can also decide to come on the day of the event with your pet for a $30 admission fee.

And if you don't have a dog, you can adopt one there!!!!! Because the MCSPCA will have some adorable adoptables on hand hoping to find their forever homes!

There will be tons of shopping for both people and pet gifts with over 150 vendors on hand, live music, food trucks, a huge 50/50, fun for the kids (mine will be there!) like snow cones and cotton candy, and so much more!

There will be Doggie Dash Races and other contests including a pet trick contest on the stage, special surprise guests, and an alumni parade for those who adopted their dogs from the MCSPCA.

Some of the stands you can visit at this event include unique items from over a hundred vendors -- beautiful jewelry, accessories, delicious homemade jams and, plenty of pet-related products.

AND, if you collect enough donations from your friends and family before the event, you could win PAWsome fundraising prizes, including an all-inclusive island getaway!

If you collect the MOST pledges, your dog will be awarded the prestigious title of 2016 Honorary Chair Dog! Your pooch's picture will be printed on all promotional materials including t-shirts, brochures, flyers, banners and billboards throughout Monmouth County!

You can even register as a team if you want to collect donations with others in your group instead of individually.
