We all know how famous New Jersey’s own Jon Bon Jovi is, and now the Garden State has another reason to be proud of him! According to research done for Forbes, Jon tops the list of celebrities who use their popularity for worthy causes. Jon and the band have drummed up nearly $450,000 in publicity for Soul Kitchen.  Other stars who rank near the top are U2 and Paul McCartney.

If you’ve been around the Jersey Shore for any length of time, you know that our area has some incredibly generous people. I see it myself every day. Now it’s nice that the whole world hears about it too! Great work Jon! Doesn’t a story like this make you feel great about the Garden State?
