Jon Bon Jovi’s Son Newest Member of Notre Dame Football

Jesse Bongiovi, son of Jersey's-own Jon Bon Jovi is now playing for "The Fighting Irish" as a walk-on cornerback for Notre Dame. 

Jesse's coach was quick to quell any rumors that the rock star's son is playing because of Bon Jovi's status. Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly told csnchicago.com that Jesse, #34, is "a tough kid" and that "he's earned his spot on the roster."

Notre Dame topped Temple in their opening game Friday, beating the Owls 28-6.
