Judge Bans NJ Woman from Ever Entering Walmart Again
A municipal judge has barred a Hopatcong woman from entering any Walmart in the country after she admitted to shoplifting from the superstore's Mount Olive location last year, NewJerseyHills.com reported.
Johanna Cassimore, 63, pleaded guilty to trying to steal $78 worth of vitamins in December.
Police said security personnel detained Cassimore after they became suspicious that she was attempting to conceal merchandise.
During her sentencing, Judge Brian Levine also ordered Cassimore to pay $258 in fines and complete 10 days of community service, NewJerseyHills.com reported.
Cassimore stole her daughter's identity between July 2005 and December 2010, which enabled her to obtain items and services for herself, the prosecutor's office said.
Cassimore called the rulling "stupid" and says she has already violated the ban.
