Presented by the Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Fund, whose mission is to honor the life and memory of U.S. Army Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II and provide support to improve the morale and welfare of members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.

If you can't make this event but would like to make a contribution to a worthy cause, here's the story behind the Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Fund:  Many servicemen and women are returning from combat suffering from Post Traumatic Stress and/or Traumatic Brain Injuries.

Because these injuries are not visible and many times, not believable, soldiers are left untreated, losing touch with society, families, friends and themselves. The suicide rate for those suffering and not being treated is 22 soldiers per day.

The Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski, II Memorial Fund has organized the K9 Sgt. Denny Project to purchase service dogs, 98% of which are rescued dogs themselves, who are specifically trained to aid wounded warriors. They provide the servicemen/women with a new lease on life, get them back into society and most of all, get them off of prescription drugs.

Please help us save a soldier and a dog. CLICK HERE TO DONATE.

These photos of a couple of the servicemen and their dogs are from Marion Zilinski, the proud mother of 1Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski, II, KIA Bayji, Iraq Nov. 19, 2005. Marion reminds us all that our freedom is not free. It is bought and paid for by our military. so when they get hurt we need to be there for them for their sacrifice to us.

22 soldiers a day commit suicide as a result of PTSD and/or TBI injuries. Your help is appreciated in stopping that number of deaths.

God bless our troops.
