Lady Gaga Announces ARTPOP Album and App Release Date

Lady Gaga? There's an app for that.

At least there will be this fall, to go along with her next studio album.
In a statement released on Mother Monster's Facebook page, ARTPOP, the name of both the album and app, will drop on November 11, with pre-orders starting September 1.

Meanwhile, the self-titled first single from ARTPOP will be released on August 19.

According to the statement, the app will combine 'music, art, fashion, and technology with a new interactive worldwide community.' No word on how much the app will cost.

Alright then.

I don't love everything about Lady Gaga, and I've sort of enjoyed her self-imposed 'media blackout,' but I can't wait to hear the new songs!
