Lakewood 4th of July Fireworks Canceled

The 4th of July festivities planned for tonight along Lake Carasaljo have been postponed.

According to the Lakewood Township website, everything planned for this evening, including the fireworks display and Lakewood Municipal Band performance, has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 1st at 7:30pm at the Lakewood All Wars Amphitheater on North Lake Drive.

The event's organizer told Point News the threat of rain and storms is the reason for postponing the event...hard to argue with that!
