Lakewood Police make an arrest of a man who has been allegedly stalking a woman for about three years.

His arrest came while officers were responding to a burglary Tuesday on Pawnee Road.

Police say 41-year old Jacob Farkas of Lakewood illegally entered her home three times before doing so again on Monday where he installed a camera in the bathroom facing the shower.

She found it and installed her own surveillance camera in her house.

She spotted him break in on Tuesday around 11:45 am while viewing the live video footage, told her husband and the Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch who called police who arrested Farkas without incident.

Farkas is charged with 3 counts of Burglary as well as Stalking and Invasion if Privacy and was remanded after his arrest to the Ocean County Correctional Facilitaty pending a future detention hearing.
