Best New Jersey Doughnut From Oakhurst

There have been several publications that have attempted to name the best doughnut in New Jersey, and the winners seem to always come form our area, and the latest honor is no exception.

This time around, the report comes from Love Food, and they have chosen what they think is the Garden State's best doughnut, and guess what? It's from our area! Congratulations to the Red Velvet Special from Broad St. Dough Co. in Oakhurst!

Broad St. Dough Co. is well known for it's Girl Scout Cookies Doughnuts, and has received national attention for them, including from Food & Wine, Glamour and Cosmo in addition to others.

Just when you thought you had accounted for all the reasons we love living at the Jersey Shore, here's comes another very delicious reason to rejoice!
